Ray Civello has been a visionary and a pioneer in the beauty & wellness industry in Canada for over 2 decades. Determined to raise the bar on every level, Ray's creative skill and sensibilities as a hairdresser, combined with his keen business sense quickly led him to a career as an entrepreneur, coveted international educator, platform artist, editorial stylist and public speaker.

His work to date includes countless television appearances, fashion editorial and sold out creative and business workshops ranging from the "Business of Creativity" and "Visioncrafting" to consistently sold out "Portfolio Photography" workshops. His love of beauty & fashion and his commitment to wellness have been the driving force behind the success of every one of his ventures.

Ray is the founder and President of the Civello Salon.Spa Group and of Collega International, the only national distributor for Aveda products in Canada and the parent company of 18 AVEDA Experience Centres, 4 AVEDA Academy Salons and 2 AVEDA Advanced Academies nationwide. Collega is also an educational resource centre providing the most current technical and business education for the highest profile salons and spas across Canada, with the help of an international team of global masters in cutting, colouring, makeup, esthetics and business. As former Vice President of Global Education for AVEDA Corporation, Ray shaped the plans that would lead to the launch of AVEDA's Advanced Technical Centre in New York City.

He was also responsible for assembling the best team of international educators and editorial artists in the beauty industry as well as steering AVEDA's direction for education worldwide. In his capacity as Vice President of Artistic Direction, Ray was involved in the development of new hair care products, provided creative direction for AVEDA's trade and consumer advertising campaigns, including the launch of AVEDA's seasonal Portfolio Collections and the professional technical education videos that accompany them. Currently as a creative consultant for AVEDA, Ray continues to travel the globe inspiring the industry with his commitment to continuous education, wellness and creative artistry.
