Ray Civello has been a leader and visionary in the fashion, beauty and wellness industry in Canada for over three decades. Combining creative skill and keen business sensibilities, Civello is a successful entrepreneur, coveted international educator, platform artist, editorial stylist and inspired public speaker.

Civello began his career as a well-respected and sought after editorial hairstylist in North America and Europe. With this experience he founded his first business Civello Inc. in 1985, which has grown to four successful Civello salons today. In 1994, Civello established Collega International, the only national distributor for Aveda products in Canada and the parent company of five Aveda Academies, two Aveda Institutes, and twelve Aveda retail stores. 

Civello’s entrepreneurial spirit and visionary leadership has driven the growth of each of his companies. His philosophy on the “art of business” combines beauty, wellness and an unfailing commitment to environmental leadership and responsibility.
